This method is used within Traditional Chinese Medicine to bring more heat into the body.

The placenta is rinsed thoroughly and steamed at 130° Fahrenheit for 30 mins. The placenta is then thinly sliced and dehydrated at 160° for 24 hours.

Additional options


Placenta Tincture

A piece of the placenta is placed into organic 100 proof alcohol, this makes 4oz of tincture. It is left for 6 weeks, then strained and ready to use. This method will preserve the hormones indefinitely. It is common for the Mother to use this when she reaches menopause or for her own daughter when they reach puberty to support hormonal balance.
